My name is Anastasia and I'm the owner of DIY Diamonds Painting, and I would like to share my story and how it led to me to the fascinating world of diamond paintings.
My Story:
I was in a pretty dark place some years back. My entire department at work had been laid off, and the constant worry of being unable to find a lucrative job caused friction in my marriage. Needless to say, I underwent depression and anxiety, and popping pills was the only way I could get through the day...
I began to see a therapist and gradually got better, but the road to recovery was a rocky one indeed! A friend of mine suggested that I take up diamond painting as it is not only enjoyable, but has therapeutic benefits as well. Initially skeptical, I was soon drawn in to this intriguing concept.
How It All Began:
The first paintings had a profound effect on my life and made me realize there are others out there who go through bad phases too, and how they could benefit from creating marvelous diamond artwork. That was the idea behind the inception of DIY Diamonds Painting – our goal is to encourage and promote diamond painting, so people can say goodbye to their problems, while honing their artistic talent and having a gala time.
We got excellent feedback on our first few orders, as some said they felt relaxed and at peace as they tried their hand at diamond paintings, while others stated their stress levels reduced considerably so they felt happier and more content. They were able to focus on the positive aspects of life and keep unwanted thoughts at bay.
